Set against the rugged backdrop of 1860's outback Australia, this tale follows four lawless men as they confront authority, the avarice of the elite, and their own internal struggles. After spending a month away from Hopetoun, Jack and Dan return to discover the newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Fuller, has arrived, posing a serious threat to their lives as bushrangers. Jack reignites his relationship with Mary, the pub owner, but his dreams of a shared future are dashed when Fuller manages to apprehend the Wild Boys.
