Riot Police (2020)

S1E1 Osorio

A van carrying six riot police heads into the heart of Madrid to execute an eviction. Typically, two or three teams are dispatched, but with August's low troop numbers, they must manage alone. The eviction proves challenging, and just when they think they have it under control, the youngest and most aggressive officer makes a fateful decision, resulting in a Senegalese immigrant plummeting from a two-story height and dying hours later. The six officers believe they’ll be exonerated by their superiors, but across the city, an Internal Affairs unit launches an investigation. Agent Laia Urquijo, the only woman on the team, knows she’s on the brink of a significant case and is determined to pursue it relentlessly.
