In the steel town of Port Talbot, a murder investigation begins after the body of local businessman Stevie Rose is found in the marina. Eager for a promotion, determined police officer Gina sees this as her chance to assist in solving the case. Meanwhile, her brother Sam forms a bond with a new neighbor who has a request, leading him to unwittingly acquire a gun.
