Ned is employed at a pie shop and appears to have an ordinary existence. However, his reality is anything but normal. With a simple touch, he can bring the dead back to life. Determined to use his unique gift to help solve crimes, he soon discovers that the task is more complex than he anticipated. When he resurrects his first crush from childhood, he faces a dilemma about whether to let her return to the world of the living, complicating his already challenging life.
