Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (2002)

S1E15 The Respective Solitudes

The Archangel rescues Kira just as they plunge into Earth's atmosphere, but the maneuver leaves them stranded in ZAFT-held territory in the Sahara, far from their planned destination of Alaska. As Kira wrestles with haunting memories of the destroyed spacecraft from the last fight, Flay steps in to look after him and offer comfort.
